Verify Your Property is in the City

Check our Ward Map to determine whether your property is within the City limits. If you are still unsure your property is in the City limits or is in unincorporated Jefferson County, use our Please Contact Me form for clarification from the City of Arnold Community Development Department.

Schedule an Occupancy Inspection

Contact the City of Arnold Building Department and the Rock Fire Department at 636-296-2211 to schedule an occupancy inspection. This should be done BEFORE you move in. The fee for the City inspection is $50 and the Fire Department fee is $50 for a home inspection and $35 for a rental property. Download and complete a Residential Occupancy Inspection Form or pick one up at City Hall.

Residential Occupancy Permit

After your residence passes both Fire and City inspections, complete and submit your Residential Occupancy Permit form. There is no fee associated to obtain a permit.

Trash, Recycling & Sewer

Use our Please Contact Me form to activate municipal services and obtain your trash and recycle bins.

Fox C-6 School District

Residents of the City of Arnold are in the Fox C-6 School District. For more information please call the school district at 636-296-8000 or visit the Fox School District website.

Arnold Recreation Center

As a citizen of the City of Arnold, take advantage of our city resident discount for you and your family at the Arnold Recreation Center. You can enjoy a walking track, indoor pool, outdoor water park, cardio and weight training area, fitness classes, basketball and volleyball courts. For more information please call 636-282-2380.

Pet Regulations

The maximum number of pets that may be kept per household in the City of Arnold include:

  • Three (3) dogs over four (4) months of age
  • Five (5) cats over four (4) months of age
  • Or a combination of up to five (5) animals over four (4) months of age, but no more than three (3) dogs

All dogs and cats over six (6) months of age must be vaccinated against rabies and registered with the City of Arnold.
