OATS/JC Transit Service is a non-profit effort to operate Jefferson County’s first public transportation system – a deviated fixed-route system that seeks to provide greater transit options for people with disabilities while serving the entire population of Jefferson County. JeffCo Express can get you to work, appointments, meetings, shopping, and special events.
Riding public transit gives residents extra time for themselves. Time can be spent reading, planning, working, meeting new folks, or just relaxing. No need to fight traffic or search for a parking space, and the cost of parking, automobile repairs and insurance, plus the cost of gasoline are saved. In addition, using public transit helps keep air clean and benefits everyone.
