Arnold is served by two school districts. The Fox C-6 School District is Missouri’s 17th largest, with more than 11,000 students. Four years in a row the Fox District has received a “Distinction in Performance,” the highest rating given on the annual performance report administered through the Department of Elementary. The district has two senior high schools, three middle schools and 11 elementary schools.

Jefferson College, with its main campus in nearby Hillsboro, offers a two-year degree program to approximately 10,500 students. Vocational and occupational programs are offered on campus and internships with metro area employers are available. Jefferson College has opened a new Arnold campus near the Recreation Center and the new Arnold Branch of the Jefferson County Library.

Continuing educational opportunities include ITT Technical Institute, which offers key technical training to prepare its graduates for today’s job market.

The South County Education and University Center, an off-campus extension of St. Louis Community College at Meramec, is located across the river in St. Louis County.

The Arnold branch of the Jefferson County Library is located in the same facility as our Rec Center.
