The City of Arnold’s Charter places administrative authority with the City Administrator and legislative and policy-making authority with the City Council.

The Mayor is elected at large and serves all residents of Arnold equally.

Two Council members are elected to serve each of four (4) City of Arnold Wards and specifically serve the residents of the Ward in which they have been elected.

The City Council meets at 7:00 pm on the first and third Thursdays of each month at Arnold City Hall, 2101 Jeffco Boulevard. The public is invited to attend. A time for public comments is provided for at the beginning of each meeting.

Agendas and Minutes for the Council Work Sessions and Formal Meetings are available here.

City of Arnold officials also sit on several City Committees that assist in the governance and vision of the City, including the Arnold Retail Corridor (ARC) TDD, Farmers Market Committee, Finance/Budget Committee, Liquor Control Committee, and Police Pension Review Board.

The City of Arnold also has Boards and Commissions that assist in governing the City. All appointments are made by the Mayor with the consent of the City Council. Applications to participate on a Board or Commission can be picked up at Arnold City Hall. For more information call us at 636-296-5940.
